Which is available in my country?

Both vary sharply by jurisdiction and neither fully serves the US. Check the local product list before funding an account — it changes often.

Are the proof-of-reserves reports trustworthy?

Both publish monthly Merkle-tree snapshots you can verify your balance in. It is meaningfully better than nothing, short of a full audit.
