THE SHORT VERSION
Everything on this site is education, not financial advice. Bitcoin is volatile and you can lose money — decisions are yours. Our content is ours (don't scrape and republish it), we earn from some links we clearly label, and we do our best on accuracy but can't guarantee markets, prices, or third-party services.
1. Who we are, what this is
Bitcoin Almanack ("we", "us") is an educational publication operated by [Legal Entity Name]. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
2. Not financial, legal, or tax advice
Nothing on this site — articles, reviews, scores, lessons, glossary entries, newsletters — is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, or legal or tax advice. We are publishers, not licensed advisors, brokers, or fiduciaries.
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are volatile and speculative. Prices can fall to zero. Self-custody mistakes are irreversible. Never invest more than you can afford to lose, and consult a licensed professional for decisions about your own situation.
3. Accuracy and market data
We work hard to keep reviews, fees, and figures current, and we correct errors when readers report them (
corrections lane). But exchanges change fees, products change specs, and markets move. Content is provided "as is" without warranties. Live prices and fee estimates come from third-party sources and may be delayed or wrong — verify before acting.
4. Affiliate links and sponsored content
Some links earn us a commission and some content is paid for by sponsors. Both are always labeled — see our
affiliate disclosure. Compensation never changes scores or rankings. When you click through to a third-party service, their terms apply; we are not responsible for their products, security, or conduct.
5. Your use of the site
+Read, share links, quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back.
−Don't republish whole articles, scrape the site for AI training or content farms, misrepresent our reviews, or use our name to endorse products.
−Don't attempt to disrupt the site, probe its infrastructure, or abuse the contact forms.
6. Intellectual property
All content — text, reviews, scores, graphics, the Bitcoin Almanack name and logo — is owned by [Legal Entity Name] or licensed to us. Product names and logos shown in reviews belong to their owners and appear for identification only; their appearance is not an endorsement in either direction.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses arising from your use of the site — including investment losses, lost funds from third-party services we reviewed, reliance on delayed or inaccurate data, or downtime. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site: nothing.
8. Newsletter
The daily digest is free. You can unsubscribe with one click at any time. Email handling is described in the
privacy policy.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], and disputes belong to the courts of [Jurisdiction]. Questions: legal@bitcoinalmanack.com
[ Placeholder — have a lawyer adapt these terms to your jurisdiction and entity before launch: legal entity name, governing law, and any consumer-law disclosures required where you operate. ]
